The Rules of Annwfn
* Annwfn is about folk-lore, fa'ae-lore, and history-based role-play for players over the age of eighteen. We are "free-form," and at this time have no system requirements - so long as the rules, setting, guidelines and theme of Annwfn are followed.
* Portal of Dreams site rules apply in this room, as well as our own. The room leader retains final say on all decisions regarding management or rules.
* Observers are welcome in Annwfn, free to watch but please PM any questions during ongoing R/P. Visitors may participate without submitting a character sheet, but cannot kill, or make use of large-scale or powerful magic. Administration-recognized guests are exempt from this restriction.
* In order to wear Annwfn tags, players must R/P in the room for at least seven days to ensure - to BOTH sides - that there is a fit with the room, then post a bio on the Annwfn boards, which must be approved by the Administration before tags may be used. Those who wish to R/P in Annwfn with a fa'ae character from another room, may do so with their own tags intact.
* Annwfn is a kingdom in its own right, separate from, but also part of the human realms. It is set in medieval Europe. Gor, modern characters, weapons and technology will not be accepted in Annwfn, as in our theme they do not exist. Underdark, DnD cosmology and Pantheon do not exist in Annwfn.
*Characters possessing godlike abilities, or which cannot be killed, will be considered unreasonable. Character types such as dragons, arch druids, etc will not automatically be considered unreasonable - the way in which the player portrays them will determine that; in other words, a little common sense goes a long way.
* Multiple characters are allowed, again within reason - if it begins to interfere with tending to the properties and duties of the primary character, or if you prove unable to retain individual personalities and depth for each, you will be asked to cut back.
* The use of high-ranking NPC or Background character officials is reserved for the room leader and members of council. Minor officials and guards may be storytold by any member of the room, and NPCs such as merchants, pets and other residents of Annwfn are open to all players.
* Please use common sense when it comes to AV size, and choose avatars that are in keeping with the theme of the room.
* Please keep bs, disruption and such out of Annwfn, and please have the courtesy and common sense to keep OOC chatting at a minimal level, anything more than that, take it to PM.
* Please use the Forum: Board to keep up with updates on guidelines, rules, etc.
* Credits to Shadow, whose rule text for the room Empire of Soledi [May the room rest in peace] was used as a foundation for that of Annwfn.
